What can I play here?

There are two league types: tips leagues, where members predict match results and tournament outcomes, and fantasy leagues, where members build squads and score points from player performances.

Is there an app?

There is no separate app to download, but you can add the site to your home screen for a full-screen, app-like experience.

iPhone / iPad: Open the site in Safari, tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen, then choose "Add to Home Screen".

Android: Open the site in Chrome. A prompt to install it may appear automatically. If not, tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner and choose "Add to Home Screen".

How do I create a league?

Create a tips league or a fantasy league, choose the settings, then share the invite link or QR image with your friends.

Can I support the site?

Yes. Fotbolls-tipset is free to use, but domains, hosting, and football data still cost money. You can make a small contribution via Buy me a coffee.

How do invites work?

League admins can open the tips invite page or fantasy invite page. The invite includes both a link and a QR image. Resetting an invite creates a new code and makes older invite links invalid.

When do I need to submit my tips?

It depends on the league mode. Some leagues lock everything before the tournament starts, while others let you tip per stage, per round, or per fixture. Each fixture must be tipped before kickoff.

Why can't I see other users' tips?

Other members' tips are hidden until the relevant fixtures have started. That keeps the competition fair and prevents everyone from being a little too inspired by the same brave friend.

How are points calculated?

Match points are split into pots for winner, goal difference, and exact result. Knockout rounds usually award winner points only. See the tips rules for the full table.

What does it mean when tips are synced between leagues?

A sync link means that tips you save in one league are automatically applied to the matching tips in another league — including match tips and the general tip. This lets you maintain the same predictions across multiple leagues on the same tournament without entering them twice.

How do I copy tips from another league?

On the tips page, use the "Copy tips" button to copy your tips from another league on the same tournament. This copies both match tips and the general tip (defensive team, fair-play team, and goal scorers). Only tips you have not already manually edited in this league are overwritten.

How do I start syncing tips between leagues?

When copying tips, enable the "Keep synced" option. After that, every tip — including the general tip — that you save in the source league is automatically pushed to the matching tip in this league going forward.

Will my tips be overwritten if a sync is active?

Only if you have not manually edited them. A tip you have saved yourself is protected and will not be overwritten by future syncs. Tips you have not touched yet remain eligible for syncing.

How do I stop tips from being synced?

To protect a single tip, just edit and save it — it is then marked as yours and future syncs will leave it alone. To remove the sync link entirely, go to your tips settings page, where you can see which leagues are synced and remove a sync link with one click.

How does fantasy work?

You pick a squad within the league budget. Players earn points from real match events such as goals, assists, clean sheets, cards, starts, and substitutions.

When do squads lock?

Squads lock at the kickoff of the first fixture in each round. After that, changes count for the next unlocked round.

Where can I see the fantasy point rules?

The default scoring table is on the fantasy rules page. League admins can adjust several scoring values, so check your league settings if something differs.

What does it mean when a fantasy squad is synced?

When you copy a squad from another league and choose "Keep synced", a sync link is created. From that point on, every time the squad is saved in the source league your squad in this league is updated automatically — useful when you play in multiple leagues on the same tournament and want to keep the same picks.

How do I copy a fantasy squad from another league?

On the squad page, use the "Copy squad" button. You can choose which of your other leagues on the same tournament to copy from. The squad is copied immediately into the current round.

How do I start syncing a fantasy squad?

When copying a squad, check the "Keep synced" option. This creates a sync link so that future saves in the source league automatically update your squad here. You can only sync from one source league at a time, and chains are not allowed.

Will my squad always be overwritten when synced?

No. The league budget and transfer limit in your league are always respected. If the source squad exceeds your league's budget, or would require more transfers than you have available, the sync is skipped and you are shown a warning. You keep your current squad in that case.

How do I stop my fantasy squad from being synced?

Edit and save your squad in the target league. When you confirm the save, the sync link is permanently removed. Your squad becomes fully independent from that point on — including all future rounds.

How do I mark members as paid?

League admins can manage payment status on the tips league admin page. If payment control is disabled, members are treated as paid automatically.

How do I change my profile image?

Open your profile page, choose a new avatar image, and save your profile. You can also use Delete to remove your current image and return to the default avatar.

How do I change the mobile menu icons?

Open your profile page and use the Bottom navigation settings. You can choose which shortcuts appear in the mobile menu bar and save the order that works best for you.

How do I enable push notifications?

Push notifications require the site to be installed on your home screen first. On iOS, open the site in Safari, tap the Share button, and choose "Add to Home Screen". On Android, open the site in Chrome and choose "Add to Home Screen" from the menu.

Once installed, open your profile page from the home screen app, find the Notifications section, click "Enable notifications", and approve the prompt. You can then choose which events you want to be notified about.

What are in-app notifications?

In-app notifications are messages sent to you within Fotbolls-tipset, regardless of whether you have push notifications enabled. They appear in the bell icon in the top navigation bar and are marked as read when you open the notification list.

You choose which events trigger notifications from your profile settings. In-app notifications and push notifications follow the same preferences — enabling an event type will deliver it through both channels.

How do I turn off email reminders?

For tips leagues, open tips settings and uncheck "Send me e-mail reminders".

For fantasy leagues, open the fantasy settings page and uncheck "Send me e-mail reminders".
